Driving Lessons

Whether you're just starting out on the road, or need a few refresher lessons, our experienced driving instructors cater for learners of all ages and abilities.

A brief guide to our lessons is shown below.

Your First Driving Lesson

Beginner

We will issue you with a welcome pack containing all the material that you need to help you understand what you learn in the the lessons, an application form for your theory test and an appointment card.

One of our instructors will work at your pace, starting from quiet residential roads away from the worries of other traffic. Once you have mastered the basics, the roads will begin to get busier and more demanding.

Previous Experience

One of our instructors will assess your existing ability on quiet roads and then work on your particular weaknesses.

Once again the lessons will be at your individual pace.

Further Lessons

These are generally arranged with your instructor on a week by week basis.

Driving Theory Test

Your instructor will advise you once they think you are ready for the theory test. You will need to book this directly with the DSA.

Theory Test CD-ROMs are available to buy from us and they offer excellent practice questions and hazard perception tests.

Once you successfully pass the theory test you then have two years to complete the practical test.

The Practical Test

We book several practical tests every month so that you don't have to wait too long once you are ready.

Normally you would have a lesson beforehand and then go on to take the test in your instructor's car. Arriving in a new, clean Mini gives a great impression and also helps maintain continuity for you.

Hopefully it will go well and you'll be ready for Pass Plus.
